A CALLOUS thief stole a tip jar from the counter of a seafront restaurant.

Police have released CCTV pictures of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft.

Between 8am and 5pm on Thursday March 29 the man entered the Three Shells Beach Café on Western Esplanade and removed the tips jar from the counter.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Amber Ashkettle on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
