Man arrested at Southend Central railway station

A MAN was arrested outside Southend Central railway station on suspicion of assaulting his partner.

Police swooped on the 20-year-old after a woman was taken to hospital with bruising to her face.

They cornered him at about 10.40am at the station, off Clifftown Road.

He was arrested on suspicion of theft and an assault at a house in the Newington Avenue area, earlier this morning.

She'll drop the charges & go back to him, thus, wasting more taxpayers money.

As I understand it the police can still prosecute now since change in the law irrespective of whether she drops charges or not
Hope he gets whats coming to him
