3:40pm Thursday 10th June 2010 in Southend
A FORMER college lecturer has won a place in the final series of TV show Big Brother.
Mario Mugan, 28, became the 14th and final contestant on the Channel 4 show after host Davina McCall pulled his name from a tombola duing the opening show last night.
He entered the house dressed as a mole and will have to complete a series of secret missions in order to remain.
Mario, who is currently unemployed, is being backed in the series by the Cliff pub in Hamlet Road, and by students and staff at South Essex College, in Luker Road, where he used to work as a lecturer.
