LAZAROTE

WHEN it comes to balmy winter temperatures, sun-kissed beaches, fantastic seafood, great bars and nightclubs and spectacular ‘otherworldly’ volcanic scenery, then there is just one word – Lanzarote.

In popular, bustling resorts such as Puerto Del Carmen and Coasta Teguise you can enjoy a spot of golf in the morning, hit the beaches in the afternoon and then the bars and clubs in the evening.

But it is not all about big, activity-filled resorts – those looking for something a little more low-key should check out places like bohemian Le Caleta de Famara with its stunning cliffs, laid back vibe and extra legroom on the beaches.
