POLICE are carrying out door to door inquiries following a brawl involving weapons in Southend.
The force helicopter hovered over the town centre following the incident Stanley Road this afternoon.
A spokesman said: “Police were called to Stanley Road in Southend shortly after 2pm following reports of a fight in progress.
"Four men have been arrested and police inquiries are continuing.
“Officers are likely to remain in the area for several hours carrying out inquiries.”
A private ambulance stopped to attend a man in Old Southend Road, shortly after 2.30pm, who was complaining of arm injuries but he did not require hospital treatment.
