A car has careered into a house in Southend, leaving a gaping hole in the property.
Police, fire, and paramedics were called out to Scratton Road, after the vehicle crashed into the side of a home.
Fire crews had to cut the roof of the wrecked car, while it demolished a wall and conservatory in the property.
Three people were in the vehicle, with the driver taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Shocked residents said they heard a massive thud as the vehicle screeched into the home at about 10.30am this morning.
