A MAN has been charged with drink driving after a crash which left two children needing hospital treatment.

Police were called to the accident in Nevendon Road, Wickford, at about 12.30pm on Sunday, July 13.

It involved a blue Mercedes, a silver Ford Focus and a silver Peugeot.

Three people, including two children, aged 12 and three, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Basildon Hospital.

Luke Brickwood, 25, of Alma Close, Wickford was charged with drink-driving and was bailed to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on July 29.
