Southend Standard: Missing boy reunited with family Missing boy reunited with family

A 10-year-old boy has been rescued after going missing in Shoeburyness on Sunday.

The boy was reported to be last seen in the sea at Shoebury Common beach.

Police were called at about 3.15pm but were then informed that the young boy had been located by the Southend Coastguard and Rescue team and reunited with his family.

It's not really in this day and age. The danger has always been there, just wasn't discussed before.

Parents do need eyes in the back of their heads though!

4 cars with lights followed by another 2 no lights, 1 hovercraft and the police chopper, i also watched a 3 year old wander off at least 3 times not too far from there on the grassy area opp side of road whilst its east european parents where doing other stuff including taking selfies.
