Well, no, he hasn't won the election yet, has he?

And I trust that the Echo will be covering all of the other parties' candidates in Westborough until election day?

I've not seen anyone out and about trying to win votes or received any leaflets don't know if that's good or bad.

I, too, rarely see these candidates out an about. I may get the odd leaflet every now and again but I have never, in my entire adult life, ever had any election candidate knock at my door trying to canvas my vote.
Sometimes I feel I would like the opportunity to ask some of the candidates questions but other times I feel I would get some satisfaction telling certain candidates why I want them to go away.

I agree with you. I often wonder if they know what we are thinking and they are to worried to knock on the door through fear of what they might get. I was looking forward to a good old debate. Oh well here's hoping.

I thought newspapers were not supposed to report on candidates or print letters from them during purdah.

I know there is usually a round up a day or so before the election giving each candidate equal space and a picture but there seem to be an awful lot of these people appearing in the paper right now.
