Fire crews extinguish Hockley mobile home blaze

A BLAZE at a mobile home in Hockley in the early hours of this morning extinguished by two fires crews.

Firefighters were called to an empty mobile home on fire at Dome Village in Lower Road, Hockley, at 3.12am.

Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire by 03:56hrs.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown but Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the police will carry out an investigation.

The mobile home, part of Park Home Living's Dome Village site for static homes, was 100 per cent smoke logged but not fully destroyed.
