A FIRE appliance, ambulance and paramedic officer attended a road accident in Rayleigh at 10.50am.

The incident, at the junction of Victoria Avenue and London Road, involved two cars.

No-one was trapped but a man in his forties was assessed and treated for chest pain by the ambulance crew, he required no further treatment.
