POLICE are appealing for information after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Westcliff.
The boy, from Westcliff, was walking along Westborough Road with a friend at around 2.45pm on February 4, when they were approached by a man and a woman.
The man then struck the victim with an extendable baton, striking him a number of times leaving him with a cut to his head.
The suspect is described as white, wearing a brown jacket, was 6ft tall and has blond hair.
