Teenager threatened at knifepoint

A TEENAGER was threatened with a knife for his mobile phone in Southend.

The sixth form student was stood at a bus stop in Woodgrange Drive opposite Honiton Road when two men demanded his phone.

The victim refused to hand it over and the men ran off.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attempted robbery on Wednesday February 6 between 7.25am and 7.40am to get in touch.

The two men are described as white, aged 16 to 19, both of slim build and wearing dark clothing.

One of them had fair hair and the other dark. They were also pushing a supermarket shopping trolley with a large red and white checked bag inside which looked full.

It was confirmed on the news this evening records are showing the most convictions are European nationals, lets see what happens when the romainan and Bulgaria are are aloud over legally, not saying that non uk residents did this crime.....

Probably standing there, the the £400 plus gizmo phone, showing the world he has one, next thing robbery.Try to remember to be discreet, you wouldn't walk around with a large wad of cash, remember the phones value...

always carry 2 phones...your fancy one and an old £5 Nokia, hand over the Nok in the event of a mugging, same goes with wallets, one contains your £370 and the other has a thick wod of Vietnamese Dong or Lira in.
