SCOTLAND'S capital city Edinburgh has been announced as the latest place holidaymakers can fly to from Southend Airport.
The airport has revealed today that flights to the north of the border will be launched from May 2.
This latest addition means that there are 16 destinations passengers can fly to now from Sputhend.
The city attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists each year to the likes of its New Year Hogmanay party and its Edinburgh Festival.
