Memorial football match for Stephen Oliver

FAMILY and friends of a young man who died suddenly while working abroad as a holiday rep have organised a memorial charity football match.

Stephen Oliver was just 30 when he collapsed and died from a heart attack, in Corfu, Greece in October 2009.

He nor his family had no idea about his previously undiagnosed heart condition.

Popular Stephen, of Blenheim Chase, Leigh, is to be remembered with a charity match on Sunday October 21.

The event from 12 to 5pm will take place at Play Football at Chase High School in Prittlewell Chase, Westcliff. All money raised will go to Cruse Bereavement Care.

All friends of Stephens are welcome to either come & play or just come along & enjoy remembering Steve. We have some wonderful raffle prizes to be won, donated by some very generous local business men & women. Abby Smith from Temptations Boutique Eastwood will also be offering reduced priced manicures & pedicures at the event, with monies going to Cruse bereavement care.Look forward to seeing you on Sunday xx

Steve was a very nice lad. I'm glad to see this match going ahead in his memory.
