Firefighters called to blaze in Southend bungalow

FIRE FIGHTERS were called to Southend after a fire broke out in a bungalow.
Crews from Leigh and Southend fire stations spent almost 40 minutes tackling the blaze in a residential garage in North Crescent, after being alerted to the incident at around 4:30pm today.
Paramedics were also on hand to attend a man who was injured in the fire.
