Basildon deputy mayor's missing £5,000 chain found
A LOST £5,000 ceremonial chain has been found almost five months after Basildon Council’s deputy mayor misplaced it.
Chris Jackman, who is also a Tory ward member for Wickford Park, last remembered wearing the gold jewellery at the 100 anniversary celebrations of the 1st
Ramsden and Downham Scout Group on April 29.
It has now been returned to him after a friend discovered it down the back seat of his car.

On reflection my earlier comment may have been a little harsh. My first wife did in fact lose her virginity in the back of my Cortina. The difference is, she never got it back.

I wonder if he has sucked any good hemp lollipops recently. Really, to think people who were chucked out of the Conservative Party conference for promoting cannabis can be allowed a position on a council. What ever are the people of Basildon thinking of that they could even countenance the sort of corruption that goes on..
