A NEW greenhouse and potting shed have been installed at a charity gardening project.

Fourteen volunteers from Ford Brentwood gave a day to work at Hamelin Trust’s horticultural project in Sutton Road, Rochford .

The charity works with people aged 16 and over, with learning disabilities, to provide them with activities and learning opportunities.

Nicky Evans, from the charity, said: “The volunteers spent a day doing gardening work and erected a greenhouse. They also put in the wooden frame for a new potting shed. We appreciate their help for the adults we work with.”
