Is it really worth printing this ..'.house alarm goes off!'
Then again it is the very precious town of Thorpe Bay.
I doubt whether the same event in Westcliff would make the headlines

Did a burglary really take place or was this just a whimsical house alarm that went off?

The article as it is written doesn't forward any significant "matter" to the story. Another non story, I feel.

So the police don't know what the intruder alarm looked like then and couldn't even find it after they scoured the area....did they bother to look upwards sure they would have found it attached to an outside wall.
Evening All.

The real story here would be how long it took for the police to respond.

If you don't think it's worth printing, just read it, don't print it! Simples.

I drove through Thorpe Bay earlier Thursday morning and there were speeding squad cars with they're blues and two on racing around up and down the roads and when I got onto the esplanade there were more police in black vehicles!

I'm very sorry to hear that it was a successful burglary, I hope that with all the police I saw about there was an arrest and a recovery of the taken items?

I watched the 3, yes three police cars blasting,( lovely shade of blue ( the lights!)) along the sea-front on the way to this!
Thought at first it was a bank raid in the Broadway (at least) lol
