Woman taken to hospital after crash on A127

A woman has been taken to hospital with back injuries after she smashed into the central reservation under Rayleigh Weir.
Police say it appears she lost control of the black Ford Ka as she was driving towards Southend on the A127 at about 8.30am.
Paramedics treated her at the scene before taking her to Southend Hospital where she is still having her injuries assessed.
One lane of the dual carriageway was closed for two hours while the vehicle was recovered.
