A car and caravan were destroyed after an electrical fault caused a fire on a driveway.
Firefighters were called out at 8.50pm to reports of an Audi car being alight outside a home in London Road, Bowers Gifford.
When the crew from Rayleigh Weir arrived at the scene, they found the blaze had spread to a caravan parked next to the vehicle.
Officers were able to put the flames out by 9.20pm before any damage could be caused to the nearby house.
An initial investigation conducted by firefighters has suggested an electrical problem from the dashboard started the fire.
