The c2c train line between Pitsea and Grays has reopened.
Buses had to replace train this morning after a power cut meant that trains could not run between the stations.
c2c has now confirmed that the train service is back to normal.
Train users were not impressed by the cancellations this morning.
Fantastic, trains are still not running properly. Can't be getting on many more rail replacement buses with loud stupid school kids and thugs begging for cigs

I waited at Chafford for an hour this morning and nothing arrived. You’re saying trains are running but they’re not. I then drove to Upminster and couldn’t park, checked again online and saw this tweet about minor delays??? pic.twitter.com/KMxUn65qYN

You get half your ticket price for 30 mins wait... so a refund of about £3 for most people and the amount you have to fill out makes the process so laborious that I bet most don’t waste even more of their time.

@c2c_Rail also please make sure your notices are displaying correctly info at platforms. Upminster said it was going to chafford when of course it was only going to pitsea. I love today

@c2c_Rail Are the trains likely to be running better this evening? Last night was a disaster, this morning was a disaster. It’s not good enough.

If your journey has been disrupted by more than 30 minutes, you may be entitled to cash compensation.
Please visit the c2c website and search 'Delay Repay' for information on how to claim.
