Inquest opens into death of man who died after van crashed into tree
A MAN who died after a crash died from multiple injuries an inquest heard.
The inquest into the death of Billy Whittaker, 30, from South Woodham Ferrers was opened this morning at Essex Coroners Court, Chelmsford.
He died on August 20 when a Mercedes Sprinter van had left the road and crashed into a tree, Wenlocks Lane near Blackmore.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The next hearing will be on December 18.
