Basildon Street Pastors were invited by Essex Police to give their cadets a prep talk on what to do when patrolling the town centre at night.
Phil Norton, the Basildon Street Pastor Co-ordinator, visited Essex Police Cadets in Grays to talk to them about the best way to deal with people who become ill from being heavily under the influence of alcohol.
Mr Norton said: “It was nice to be able to share what Street Pastors are about and it was a good chance to talk to a younger generation.
“I did some role play with the cadets and I was showing them what we do and what they could do to help someone if they look ill.
Mr Norton said that there was “a lot of positive feedback” from the cadets and Essex Police from the session.
