FIREFIGHTERS were called to Old Leigh after a blaze broke out.
Crews were called to a BBQ next to the public toilets in Bell Wharf at 10.30am today.
When they arrived, the incident commander reported the stall was completely alight and that propane cylinders were involved.
Luke Burkett, who was in Leigh at the time, said: "Everyone run as they thought the gas was going to explode. (The area was) shut off for 45 mins."
Crews had extinguished the fire by 10.51am.
