FOUR talented young dancers are flying the flag for Essex after making it through to the Britain's Got Talent final.

Rhian Bremmer, 15, from Laindon, Lewis Platt, 13, from Billericay, Curtis Butler, 16, from Laindon, and Chloe Lynch, 13, from Basildon, went to head to head with seven other acts in the first live semi-final of the ITV contest.

The dancers are part of Essex-based group Entity Allstars, which trains for up to 28 hours a week.

Welsh choir Cor Glanaethwy went straight through to the final after winning the automatic public vote, but Entity Allstars made it through to the final three.

They went up against singer Henry Gallagher to win the judges vote, with Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell all picking the dance group, made up of 20 members.

Rhian is a paper girl for the Echo’s sister title, the Basildon Recorder, while Lewis is the brother of X Factor star Lauren Platt.

Tomorrow night dance group IMD Legion, featuring India Cooney, 12, from Wickford, and Alice Routledge, 14, from Basildon, will perform in the third live Britain's Got Talent semi-final.

The final of the ITV competiton will air on Sunday evening.
