- Martin Goldberg was found dead at his home in Shoebury the day after officers questioned him about allegations he had been secretly filming children in changing rooms at Thorpe Hall School and at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre swimming pool.
- It has since emerged Essex Police were first made aware of the allegation in November 2013.
- Nick Alston, Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex, said aspects of the case have been referred to the IPCC.
