BUDDING forensic scientists spent a week taking fingerprints, inspecting crime scenes and solving mysteries.
Essex-based Twenty Twenty Learning hosted a special crime scene investigationthemed summer school at Beauchamps High School, in Beauchamps Drive, Wickford.
The 27 youngsters learnt the art of interrogation as well as improving their communication and memory skills.
The final day of the week-long summer school saw Twenty Twenty Learning team up with performing arts group Brilliant Theatre Arts for a dramatic role play.
Teams had to work out which member of the group was responsible for murdering one of their colleagues, and for what motive. Helen Dickman, who ran the summer school, said: “It was a great success. The students have enthusiastically threw themselves into all the activities and gained a range of transferable skills along the way.”
