Fire crews called to deliberate grass fires during strike
FIRE crews have been called to two grass fires this evening, despite the Fire Brigade Union's 24 hour strike.
The fires, in Bockingham Green, Basildon and Warwick Drive, Rochford were believed to have been set deliberately.
The fires were attended and extinguished by fire fighters still on duty between 8pm and 9pm.
