STUDENTS at a dance school in Leigh are down to the last three of a nationwide competition to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
Five teenagers, aged between 14 and 17, from Expressions Theatre Arts are battling it out with schools from Scotland and London to perform at the Dance Proms in November.
The proms, now in its fourth year, is a spectacular evening of entertainment showcasing dance talent from around the UK and the rest of the world.
Expressions Theatre Arts have beaten off competition from all over the country to make the final three for the second year running, with the overall winner to be chosen by a public vote.
School principal Emma Felton said: “We were in the public vote last year, but didn’t quite make it.”
To vote and see the Leigh school’s contemporary dance, entitled Tears of an Angel, visit www.danceproms.co.uk before Sunday, June 15.
