A DISABLED man was freed from a car after it crashed into a wall in Basildon.
Emergency services were called to Luckyn Lane at about 2.46pm today after reports a car had hit the wall outside Topps Tiles at the Pipps Hill Retail Park.
An off-duty paramedic from Grays ambulance station was on the scene first and stabilised the man while two fire crews from Basildon used a winch and blocks to keep the car still.
The man was released from the car by 3.30pm.
