THREE adults and two children were injured after being involved in a car crash in Eastwood on Sunday evening.

The incident happened at about 6.35pm and involved two vehicles on Rayleigh Road.

Firefighters from Leigh were called out to the scene to help free the five people in the cars, although none were trapped in the wreckages.

The casualties were then left in the care of paramedics.

We stopped at and helped out, I directed the traffic and my girlfriend helped out with the casualties. Hope they are all ok.
