A MOTORBIKER has been left with leg injuries after a hit and run.
An orange car dragging a trailer containing a classic car collided with a motorcyclist at the A1245 Fairglen Roundabout at about 8.30am yesterday morning.
It is believed the orange car suddenly change lanes, hitting the black Suzuki motorbike, trapping the biker’s leg.
The driver pulled over long enough to disentangle the motorcycle from the trailer, but then drove off without exchanging details.
The motorcyclist, a 54 year old man from Witham, sustained a broken right foot and bruising.
The make of the orange/red vehicle is unknown.
The accident happened with the vehicles travelling from Chelmsford towards Southend.
Road Policing officers in Laindon are investigating a collision.
They want to hear from any motorists who witnessed the collision or the immediate aftermath and anyone who can help is asked to contact investigating officer Pc Mark Weeble at Laindon on 101 ext 481800.
