A TWO vehicle crash in Billericay has closed the A176 Laindon Road in both directions this evening.

Police were called to the collision, near Billericay School, at 6.27pm and closed the road due to spilt petrol.

The fuel was cleared and the road re-opened by 9pm, there were not believed to have been any casualties in the incident.

I was the 17 year old in this accident. if she wasn't on her phone, i would off got home fine last night. she's the reason why people like her shouldn't be on the road we was beeping and flashing and she still carried on. she's a danger. i was rushed into hospital and everything. i have pictures of the crash. she should have her licence took off her

You were in the aforementioned accident. The other driver involved was illegally using a mobile phone at the time of the incident..

That right? Hope you mentioned this to the attending officers. If it occurred in this manner then I do agree with you it's a disgrace.
