A WESTCLIFF man who was reported missing in February is now believed to be in Europe.

Barry Miles, 33, a musician, was reported missing by his family after they lost contact with him.

Police have today said they are liaising with other European police authorities as to his whereabouts after receiving new information.

A force spokesman said: “Enquiries suggest he travelled to London Victoria Coach Station after which he continued on his way to Lille in France where he was seen on Wednesday, February 19.

Essex Police has notified the French and other European police authorities and await any further updates.”

Maybe he doesn't want to be found?

Leave him be, unless he's wanted by the law in which case interpol and not the Echo would be more suitable.

he knows who to contact if he wanted to contact someone, so the missing man is not missing anymore as he has been seen, probably doing his own thing somewhere.

I think the Police should stop enquiries and concentrate on their priorities such burglaries etc. This is just tracing a relative they have lost contact with.
