A ZUMBATHON at Hullbridge Community Centre on March 2 will help raise funds in aid of St Luke’s Hospice, Basildon.
Organised by Joanne Burch, a fitness and dance instructor, the Zumbathon is free for anyone who wants to attend.
Each year Joanne organises an event for charity and this year chose Zumba, with participants asked to make a donation to reach the target of £600.
Joanne said: “This year I wanted to organise an event for a great local charity. Many of the ladies in the Zumba classes have personal experience of the work St Luke’s.
“I chose Hullbridge Community Centre as it has a large hall for lots of people to take part.”
