I wonder how many huzndreds of men that age walked through the park that day. No more details of what he did, or looked like, or who he upset?

It's only a matter of time before the Echo have a story that says "A man is wanted for doing a thing at a place" along with a blurred B&W freeze frame from a CCTV.

I blame the police contact, if more info was provided they surely would have put more.

To the illiterate person above: This was actually my friend, who was very traumatised by this incident and was in such shock she run off and couldn't give a clear enough description. (Pretty understandable considering the circumstances if you ask me). I find your comments quite heartless considering this could also have happened to a young girl, your sister, your mum or even your own daughter. And I bet it didn't cross your "tunnel vision" mind that the victim DID actually give more information but the police or Echo failed to print that information??! So maybe people should think first before writing such heartless comments that could affect someone whose already traumatised as it is!

Firstly Cinbin please pass on my best wishes to your friend - I totally agree that if I was my daughter I would want to nail this pervert to a tree after chopping off the offending member. I can understand not much information - I am sure it was quick and if a woman flashed her breasts in front of me I would be hard put to describe her face. This idiotic comment was made by the sort of loud-mouth who stands at the end of the bar justifying Gary Glitter and Jimmy Saville as only a bit of fun and why didn't the victims come forward sooner etc! Also Basildonians what planet are you on - do you think everyone is a saint in SS13? Just yesterdays front page is two yobs from Basildon fighting in a Southend school with one ending up paralyzed - are you just exporting your offenders now - I am sure some muppet from Beirut will be on here soon saying that it is saferto live there than Southend. I just hope the police catch this nasty pervert quickly so no one else has to go through this stress.
