A MAN has been charged after a man's nose was broken in an assault on a train.
Jack Harrison, 21, of Wyndham Road, Grimsby, was charged with common assault by the British Transport Police (BTP) in connection with the incident, after an assault on the 12.32am Liverpool Street to Shenfield train on December 19 at about 1am.
Harrison is accused of assaulting a 44-year-old Hornchurch man who had intervened when he saw a group of five men harrassing a woman.
Mr Harrison is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on February 18.
