EMERGENCY services have been called to a car that got stuck on a cattle grid - on a level crossing.
The vehicle broke down at about 8pm on the C2C line between Stanford and Pitsea, with the British Transport Police and Network Rail scrambled to rescue the ailing vehicle.
The railway is currently closed while the recovery takes place, with C2C warning that trains could be subjected to diversions or cancellations at short notice.
