A BURGLAR has stolen electrical equipment and jewellery from a Westcliff flat.

The burglar got into a flat in Claremont Road through an open bathroom window and stole a Samsung digital camera, two iPhones, a Sony laptop, a red jewellery box with a distinctive bunny sticker on the lid and various items of jewellery, including a cameo pendant of a lady with a pink background.

The burglary happened between 7.45pm and 10pm on Friday, November 29, but the police only released information today.

Anyone with information should contact Dc Andy Copley, or his colleagues at Southend CID, on 101.

Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Dear Mr Trayner, 'Westcliffe' in Kent (near to Dover) is spelt with a 'e' at the end.
Perhaps you can do a story on how the cuts are hitting Kent police so hard that they have to use such old cars.
