TOP actress Nathalie Emmanuel has paid a moving tribute to her co-star in the upcoming installment of the Fast and the Furious film series, who died in a car crash on Sunday.

The death of US actor Paul Walker, 40, in Los Angeles shocked the world this week and tributes have poured in to him – including from his Westcliff co-star Nathalie.

The former Hollyoaks actress, 24, credited her “amazing”

colleague with helping her adjust to life on the set in a moving tribute on Instagram.

Paul Walker died with a friend who was reportedly driving the pair of them to a charity event.

Nathalie wrote on the website: “Paul, I had only known you a few months, but it was long enough to knowhow amazing you were.

“You welcomed me into the Fast family with open arms and always made sure I was doing OK when we were on set together.

“I will be forever grateful for that. Not only were you incredibly talented you were an absolute joy toworkwith and to be around. I am honoured to have worked alongside you.”

She added: “I am blessed to have known you. My love is with your family and friends at this devastating time. I also send my prayers to the loved ones of the friend who also lost their life.”

Nathalie had recently moved to the United States to film her part in the seventh installment of the hit film franchise after starring as Missandei in Game of Thrones, which was filmed in Belfast. She said: “There are so many action films that are out, but I think what keeps Fast and Furious going are the family that has been formed and the love of the characters that we’ve come to know.”
