Enosh Mwesigwa, 41, of Parkanaur Avenue, Thorpe Bay, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. He was caught driving on the A127 at Noak Bridge on March 30. He was fined £200, given six penalty points and was ordered to pay £90 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Alan Osman, 37, of Sutton Road, Southend, admitted driving without insurance. He was caught driving in Brook Street, Brentwood, on April 4. He was fined £200, given six penalty points and was ordered to pay £90 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Kevin Dark, 34, of Oaken Grange Drive, Southend, was found guilty in his absence of speeding. He was caught travelling at 59mph on the A282 in Thurrock on April 4 – the legal limit is 50mph. He was fined £200, given three penalty points and was ordered to pay £90 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Lee Grant, 31, of Maplin Close, Benfleet, was found guilty of driving a vehicle with a cracked windscreen in Laindon, on March 26. He was fined £400, given three penalty points and was ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £90 costs.

Patricia Hurdle, 68, of Church Road, Rawreth, pleaded guilty to speeding. She was caught driving in Southend Road, Shotgate on April 6 at 46mph – the legal limit is 30mph. She was fined £40, given three penalty points and was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Lucy Perrin, 29, of Curling Tye, Basildon, admitted two counts of theft. She stole goods worth £38 from Home Bargains and £58 of goods from Hobbycraft in Basildon on September 17. She was ordered to complete a drug dependency programme and to attend probation appointments for a year.

JJ Margetts, 26, of Osier Drive, Basildon, admitted driving without insurance. He was caught driving on the A127 at Basildon on March 30. He was fined £110, given six penalty points and was ordered to pay £90 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Beverley Afuye, 38, of Rookyards, Basildon, was found guilty in her absence of driving without insurance. She was caught driving in High Road, Vange on April 7. She was fined £600, given six penalty points and was ordered to pay £90 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
