11:00am Wednesday 25th September 2013 in Echo News
A FATHER claims his son was forced off a school bus with no way of getting to a school test.
Khaled, of Butneys, Basildon, says he hadonly usedthe school bus a handful of times when the upsetting incident happened.
He was sat on the top deck of the bus when the driver shouted that pupils shouldn’t be standing up. Some boys playing tricks removed Khaled from his seat so he sat on the floor.
But Khaled claims the driver forced him down the stairs and made him get off the bus, leaving him with no money and no way to get to school.
Dad Mohammed Al-Aswad said: “He is 11 and was scared because he just wanted to go to school.
“He had a test and called me in tears so I had to drive him to school. Now my son is refusing to go to school on the bus.”
Mr Al-Aswad, who also has a daughter, said: “It was only the fifth time he had used to bus.
“I am really unhappy because no one wants to help me.”
A spokesman for First said: “We are aware of the alleged incident and are investigating it in line with company procedure.
“The driver in question has been interviewed, and we are also working with the school to try and ascertain what happened.
“Additionally, we will be reviewing CCTV taken from the bus.”
