UPDATE: Police continue investigation after drugs-related death of festival-goer

Police are continuing investigations into the death of a man who bought drugs over the internet.
The man, who was his 30s and from the Chelmsford area, died at Basildon Hospital yesterday.
He was taken ill while attending the Brownstock music festival at Stow Maries.
He is thought to have taken the amphetamine based drug 5-EAPB, which is also known as ‘Benzo Fury’.
A post mortem examination and further medical tests will be carried out this week to establish the exact nature of the substance.
The man’s girlfriend was also admitted to Basildon Hospital and is still receiving treatment.
Her condition remains stable.
A second man, a friend of the couple, also received hospital treatment.
