Customers of airport parking scam offered refunds (From Southend Standard)

They have obviously gave someone high up a nice back hander as there is no way these con artists would be allowed to rip off again and they will. Money corruption talks loud.

Those fraudsters, should have been kicked off the airport, what will their next scam be ?

So now that SACP have said they will pay back the motorists that were charged during the scam, what about the breach of contract where they state ALL cars will be parked in the SACP secure compound when they were not, is there going to be any compo paid?

Also they say that they will refund the airport for any losses...


In my own opinion that I share with you to encourage healthy debate on this topic I see it as a cynical move to deflect any bad press that the issue might have for SACP, by stating they would pay back any losses knowing that the car park was actually free at the time make it sould like a responsable move however SACP still fail to actually say that Southend Airport were offering free car parking at the time.

It's time that serious action is taken to sort this mess out once and for all, prehaps it is time SACP were barred from operating from the airport,

ist say its council land yes yes I know, however as Stobarts are the tennant they can seek a court order to stop them from operating off the airport.

Something that worries me is the statement: Southend Airport Car Park Ltd cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage of property or vehicles.

So whos insurance covers the car as it is driven from airport to car park?
