It appears to me the above two idiots are for the police. There cowards that were bullied at school. So what if people are dealing drugs, just trying to make a living. Dont worry you fat doughnut lovers, you will never win the war on drugs.

Many will agree with you (I do) that the 'war on drugs' will never be won. There has to be a major change in legislation and a political will to shift the front on which this perceived war is fought before there is any chance of anybody 'winning'.

That apart, your sweeping condemnation of the police serves only to betray your own inadequacies. Given the quality of your short rant I doubt you would pass the entrance exam for any public office let alone the police.

So do you honestly believe the police force in Essex do a good job? They are useless infact across the country. I know the way society has gone nowadays is bad, but everyone complains about crime going out of control in their area etc.. But do the police do anything about it? There not interested in pulic concern, there just interested in generating revenue for the government, such as a targeting easy targets such as the motorist.

Interesting point! I think a l;ot of people would agree that they appear to be targeting the motorist as an easy target but if it takes people using mobile phones off the road I'm all for it. Also, other crimes are detected - no insurance, tax, license etc. but I get your point! I think a lot of the blame has to be placed at the doors of the liberal fluffy bunny brigade who are all for the 'give him/her another 49 chances before we do anything! Also the prosecution service working together with the judiciary ought to be looking at maximum sentencing so message is sent out, rather than the current 'you can't touch me - I can do as I like' attitude that seems to prevail within the youth of today. I think I can see both sides but it's not all the Police's fault - they are getting increasingly frustrated by catching these scrotes only to have them let back onto the streets by some liberal FB.

Its not the police that are responsible for the way society has ended up though, its the justice system. I honestly think the police do an amazing job, yeah ive been arrested many times but i had broken the law so i cant blame them for that. The police spend months/years gathering evidence on criminals then the judges just let them walk, or they get 2 months in jail and then you think the police operation probably cost hundreds of thousands and the crooks will be back on the street in a matter of weeks. If judges just banged people up properly then most crime would stop as 70-80% of crime in any area is done by the same people. Anyone who mugs another person should get 4 years instantly, burgle a house, 4 years, i bet muggings & burglaries would drop. Then the community would feel more protected and be able to stick up for themselves against thugs like they used to if they knew the crooks would actually be gone for the foreseeable future. Who wants to stand up in court and give evidence against a bunch of thugs that will be standing outside your local shop tommorow?

Good points there drspiffspaffinton, for all those police haters, it's not the front line officers that you should be targeting your opinions at, its the government, I for one would love to see the government suspend policing for one year just to see all you police haters going into hiding in fear for your life's because the big bad and ugly will be able to raise there heads without fear of prosecution, and for the lovers of people who sell drugs, what do you do when your little boy or girl of 14 comes home out of her head "will you still support it" "will it make you proud" what if its in a body bag, you arrogant people would properly say my kids will be brought up better than that ha ha, without the policing there would be nothing, no schooling or anything, look at all the bad countries out there with corrupt policing, is that what you want, 99% of the people who are police haters either know someone or have been caught themselfs breaking the law and then complain lol, the thing is you need to man up, you got caught, take it on the chin, there are reasons behind nicking and fining people for minor offences. Myself have been on the receiving end of the law many times and thank my lucky stars that I never ended up in prison ( because I probably should have) but I for one would not want for 1 second want my kids growing up in a country without the protection of the police, it's the government that makes it hard work and the PC brigade. So for you haters grow up go have your last spliff then move on with your lives
