TOWIE star Lauren Goodger paid a visit to Southend to meet her fans.

The well-known face of reality TV visited the Victoria shopping centre, in Southend, to sign copies of her autobiography.

The book, called Secrets of An Essex Girl, talks about her rise to stardom and gives an overview of the heartbreaks that have shaped her character.

She said: “Southend is an Essex area, and I have been here since I was little. I used to be a fan of Peter Pan’s playground. I love coming to meet fans and I appreciate them reading my book and supporting me. It’s nice to give something back, I love doing pictures with everyone and signings.”

Fan Chelsea Pendrey, 17, who lives near Southchurch Park, in Southend, was overwhelmed to meet her idol.

She said: “I really like her, she’s my idol. I just admire her looks and what she wears, and she’s all natural as well. I watch TOWIE every time it’s on, I’ve got the box set as well, and I’d love to be on the show.”

Yawn. Lauren darling, yes you are very good looking, aand you do seem a nice girl, buts its a dead shame that you are on the worst tv programme ever made, and your idols are just idiots as well. Come off TOWIE, and do something else instead. Then we might like you a bit better.
