Car demolishes Leigh gift shop

A car has crashed through the window of a Leigh gift shop.
The car totally demolished the front of Home Sweet Home Interiors and Gifts in Leigh Road this morning.
The car, which was left wedged into the store, has also done extensive damage to the interior of the shop.
An Essex ambulance spokesperson said the occupants of the shop had escaped with minor injuries.
