Inspectors descend on Basildon hospital
2:03pm Thursday 24th January 2013 in Echo News By Gina Marden
INSPECTORS from the health watchdog the Care Quality Commission have descended on Basildon Hospital.
The three-day inspection, which was unannounced, began at the hospital on Monday and follows recent concern about the care provided in the hospital's paediatric department.
The inspection comes ahead of a report being delivered by the watchdog in the coming weeks.

This hospital has got to be the worst in the county, the food is not fit for human consumption, half of the staff cant be bothered to do the job they are paid to do, and the doctors are incompetent too!
I am currently involved in a SERIOUS complaint regarding forged patient notes, wrong drugs being given and no discharge letter being sent to local doctors for a follow up, oh and after being sent home, being back in the hospital within 36 hours and staying there for over a MONTH!!!
