Trains cancelled between Southend and London

TRAINS between Southend and London have been cancelled or delayed.

Train operator Greater Anglia cancelled the 8.30am train from Southend Victoria to Liverpool Street and the 9.55am train in the opposite direction due to congestion from earlier delays.

The 8.20am and 9.16am trains on c2c’s line between Fenchurch Street and Shoebury have been delayed and will terminate at Southend Central due to snow and ice.

Other trains in both directions on the Southend Victoria to Liverpool Street line have been delayed by between 12 and 18 minutes.

Signalling problems between Hackney Downs and London Liverpool Street fewer trains are able to run on all lines.

A broken down train at Seven Kings has also caused delays.

Yeah because people being delayed from getting home to their families they've been working all day to provide for is definitely a laughing matter... Spot on Rob777, spot on.

Thats a new excuse, trains cancelled due to earlier congestion. There must be a manual of excuses somewhere, might look in the library
